CONSTRUCTION AND JURISDICTIONAL WATERS 101
1.5 Day Course
$450
Next class TBD
This course provides participants with the tools to identify when potential jurisdictional waters may be present in their project area. This course is designed for those whose main job is not delineating jurisdictional waters, and have no formal education or training in natural resources. This course is best suited for those that have to “make a call” in the field when outside wetland consulting is the best option.
Participants in this course are construction superintendents, field engineers, surveyors, operators, etc. Participants will be provided with basic information on US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) regulations, permitting limitations, general field indicators for jurisdictional waters, how to interpret a USACE permit/delineation report, and when it’s best to call on outside help to make sure jurisdictional waters are delineated prior to construction. This course has classroom (50%) and field (50%) components. Participants will receive a reference manual and certificate of completion.
