This course is an introduction to the US Army Corps of Engineers permitting process. Participants will learn about General (nationwide, regional, and programmatic) and Individual Permits (Standard Individual and Letter of Permission); as well as basic information about mitigation, appeals, emergency permits, public notices, water quality certification, and agency-consultant interaction. This course is designed for anyone required to know the basics of the permitting process. Participants will be provided with a core reference manual and certificate of completion.
